SV 8 Fox Chapel 3
Fox Chapel jumped out to an early 3-0
lead in the 3rd. SV’s bats did not come alive until the 5th
inning when they took the lead scoring 5 runs. After SV took
the lead Jason Martin and Jonathan Dorogy came in and shut
the door on Fox Chapels offense not allowing another run to
be scored.

SV 8 – Mt. Lebo 2
Mt. Lebo jumped out to an early 2- 0 lead in the second, but
SV responded quickly by tying the game in the bottom of the
second. After the second inning SV’s pitching and defense
did not allow another run the rest of the game. SV continued
to put runs on the every inning with the final score being
SV 8 Mt Lebo 2.

Zach Spangler – 2-3 2 Doubles
Drew Spangler – 2-3

SV 18 Hampton 1
SV’s pitching and defense kept Hampton to scoring
just 1 run. While SV’s offense was led by Jason Martin and
Drew Spanger who combined for 7 hits and 8 RBI’s.

Jason Martin – 3-4(HR) 6 RBI’s
John Choma – 3-4

SV 2 NA 7
Carson Kessler pitched 4 strong innings to hold NA
scoreless before they rallied for 5 runs in the fifth
inning. SV was unable to get the bats going and lost 7-2.

SV 17 Mars 6
Mars got out to a quick 5-1 lead by the end of the 3rd
inning, by the end of the 4th SV was trailing Mars by a
score of 6-4. SV then exploded for 13 runs and batted around
twice in the 5th, and seven of those runs came from the bats
of Jake Laskey (Grand Slam) and Brad Gresock (Three run HR).
Jonathan Dorogy shut down mars in the bottom of the 5th
inning to pull off the win with a final score of 17-6.
Notable Performances:
Brad Gresock – 3-4 , HR, 4 RBI’s
Jake Laskey – 2-3, HR, 5 RBI’s (Grand Slam)
Zach Spangler – 2-2, 2 BB
